Men of all ages and backgrounds are continually forming a “Band of Brothers” here at Wiley Church. Our goal with our men’s programs are not to make “nice guys” out of us, but to capture what God intended us to be: strong, adventurous, rugged, and committed to our God and families.

Regular small group discussions and studies run throughout the year. These are casual, and many times thought provoking. Some of the men plan small fishing and hunting trips together. This year, many of our men will again spend an amazing time in “God’s country – Montana.” This fall excursion has in the past been one of the most memorable and spiritually effective things we have ever done as men at Wiley Church.

Each year, our men’s group work together for our annual Charity Christmas Tree Sale. We unload hundreds of trees, set them up, and volunteer our time to sell them. All of the profits go directly to local charities.

Each month our women get together and invite their friends to our Women’s Fellowship Dinners. On top of great food and conversation, the evening also includes a special guest who shares either an amazing personal story, a talent, or a project. Some of our past guests have been a story from a 9/11 survivor, a comedienne, musicians, and special crafters who lead the women in projects. Tickets for these dinners are sold at the church or church office. Please call for more information.

Also once a month is our popular Scrapbooking class. Come with your photos and memories and learn how to create colorful and beautiful albums that you can look back on. The class is free, and the supplies you need will be offered at the class. You can call the church office for more information.

Wiley Association of Youth (WAY) is our fun and effective outreach to Junior and Senior High school students. Sunday Night meetings include dinner, group games, great worship music, small group discussions, and challenges from God’s Word. WAY also has separate Junior and Senior High small group Bible studies and discussion groups on Wednesday Nights.

WAY provides excellent weekend and summer trips to camps, day trips, service projects and even overseas and local mission trips. There is a committed and trained volunteer adult team that takes the group’s safety and spiritual life seriously, but does it as fun as possible.

Check out our calendar of events on the YOUTH page.

Traditionally, the Honeybees have participated in a special Sunday morning service at Christmas time. This is not only exciting for the children, but is highly anticipated by the members and regular worshippers at Wiley. A lot of energy and practice is put into this special event and it is most certainly a joyful noise to the Lord.

Sunday School

Logos

Logos is our exciting Wednesday night program for children in grades 1 through 5.
The children meet weekly from 5:00 – 8:00 PM. The program runs for two, 12 week semesters during the school year.

We realize that the children have been in school all day, so we make learning at Logos a fun and exciting experience. The children will participate in numerous activities throughout the evening, including crafts, recreation and music. We start with class time as the children are grouped by grade level and learn a lesson from the bible in an enjoyable manner. Next comes dinnertime where the children feast on kid-friendly food and dessert. Afterwards, they participate in games and recreation and games, craft time and even a children’s choir.

The children will at times share their music at church services, and even put on a show like performance. Local trips are also planned throughout the year.

Wiley Church has a heart to help the community is realistic and tangible ways. Although no one group can handle every need, we believe it is our calling from God to help those who may be hungry, cold, or sick.

Our Pantry Ministry provides food and cleaning supplies to over a dozen families each week, through food and financial donations from our church family. People also help by sorting and sometimes delivering these items.

Our Youth hold an annual “Camden Coat Drive” which collects coats, hats, gloves, and food, and goes into the heart of Camden to find families in dire need. This ministry grows each year, and continues to show many people the need for basic essentials only miles from their homes.

Our annual Christmas Tree Sale raises thousands of dollars for local charities and ministries. This event is run by our Men’s group. Not only does this ministry raise funds, but it builds friendships as well.
